RS Campout!!!

The Relief Society Campout will be held June 5-6 at the Boy Scouts Headquarters in Balboa Park. We will have 2 groups carpooling over from the Stake Ctr--one at 5 and one at 6:30 Friday evening. You will need to bring a sleeping bag--we will pass out a list of guys in the ward you can borrow from if you do not have your own. We will have a lot of fun games and you will have the opportunity to learn some archery and shoot some BB guns! Should be an awesome time! Hope everyone can make it!

Relief Society Lesson

Hey, this is Megan Ward. For those of you who were unable to attend church this Sunday, I gave a lesson on apostasy (chapter 27 in the Teachings of the Living Prophets manual). Basically we discussed the things that can lead to apostasy like criticizing our leaders, having pride, or not being unified as a church. We also discussed what happens to those who apostasize: they lose the spirit and more often than not persecute the church. It is a really good lesson to read if you have time, even if you did attend church but did not read the lessson. Unfortuantely some of you missed out on delicious cupcakes!!! Make sure to come next time I teach
